It's "Blog About Jordan Day" so let history start now for a new era to Jordan. Let it write about the love that brings criticism and for the passion that burns for such a place. Actually, I'm not Jordanian in any shape or form but my heart holds a special place for such a Royal country. I travel across borders (Damascus/Jordan) to visit some family and the MANY friends that I have there. And better yet, I travel seas and continents to live the "Jordanian experience". To me, Jordan is the most beautiful of memorable nights I've spent in my life. It's a warm, fresh summer breeze that aches my heart in its memory. It's the heat that colors Petra in those warm red hues and my skin to be sun-kissed. Its Aqaba's palm trees and the dead sea's sunset. It's the salty water and my success at finally being able to float (hehe, not good at swimming). Jordan is Wadi Rum's starry night and the moist-filtered air.

Jordan is getting to the borders and being looked at as a foreigner for taking a picture in front of the huge "Jordan First الاردن أولاً" sign. It's the heartbeat skips I get till I run into the arms of my favorite people. It's the crazy feeling of being on the go and on a race with time. It's living every second as much as its worth. Jordan is simply being in love with life..... it's the feeling of being revived by the air you breath. Jordan is being in the city, loving the 7 circles, walking swafyeh's stores, gazdaret (or is that a Syrian word?) jndaweel, the water fights at sail wadi el seer, and fading down the rush in the most humble na3oor.
Jordan is the tears on 6aree2 el ma6ar and the hope for yet another encounter. It's the 365 days of wait to be alive again..................... Jordan, I will be back.

LOL--- ZARQA? Are you kidding me?
I agree with some of your images... its quite a nice a place. I loved floating on the Dead Sea at night looking up at the thousands of stars. Wadi rum is peaceful and Petra's rose colored walls have history.
Jordan would be nicer to me if I didn't see the King's face everywhere and running water was prevalent. :)

Diana: lol t2bsheeni la tz3ali.. smile little baby boy, emak is just an emotional sweet lady.
Dana: lool zarga was where you stayed right? lol.. at the end of the world it seemed loool! oh man. At least the king deserved his face to be put up everywhere, hes a nobelman! But I agree about the running water. I had to switch houses every now and then so I dont feel like im being a burden on the household with water and my daily showers.
very nice ... and touchy
