Wadi Rum and the Night.

While everyone decided to sleep in their tents, I decided to spend the night by the fire. There was a steady chilly breeze that let the fire rage. The heat coming from it romanced me with warmth. I began to drift into my thoughts and the fire lit my imaginations. Randomly, people would bring me back to reality by joining me for a few minutes.
But the later it got, the more peaceful it became. I felt wadi rum was mine and no one could take away the moment from me. I played with the sand and wrote to it my biggest secrets. The darkness of the night hid away my fears but distinctively bought out the stars. I laid down and began to fall in love with the stars. So vivid, so loud... they spoke in the name of pride, love, and freedom. But slowly, they began to disperse. They were leading the sun to fill the sky. I climbed to the highest point I could find and waited for the sunrise to welcome it. I wanted to be sun kissed and that’s the truth. The light left the fireplace and filled the sky.
